An Dream ...........!!!!!
There was a dream to make a movie..after watching Mega Star's (Chiranjeevi) movie (Gharana mogudu Which was released on April 9, 1992)when I was in 2nd standard (NSKK High school). Thats when i started dreaming of making movies. The dream never left me or rather I never the dream, and from 7th class onwards I started writing stories. What good is a story when you can not share it with other's... right..? But NO one listened to my stories. It wasnt because my stories were bad, but because i was weak in studies. dont get it..? Since i wasnt good in studies, they presumed i would write some blunder garbage.. Then one day, i went to my friends and somehow persuaded them to listen to one of my stories. Once they started listening... I mean, I dont know, they were so surprised... They took the papers from me , read the story one after the other and started asking me Questions.. "How did you write such a fantastic story,," "Where did you get this idea from.." and so on and on... ( It felt good :-) ). And from then on I wrote more than 17 stories and my dream to make a movie became stronger by the day. Story writing went on through Intermediate (@ NSKK JR COLLEGE) and into ITI as well (ST Francis Xavier's ITC). Here i made a nice group of Friends. From them i learnt many thing's that i am sure can be implemented in my movies. Those people are amazing friends that i wont forget.. One time i got a chance to audition for a local Radio jockey position but dont Know why, i was not selected (may be i dont want to find out. may be its because i dont want any failure to demoralize me.. I want to beleive that every failure is a stepping stone to success..) So my dreams to make a movie, my dreams to write the perfect stories went on... I could have felt a little odd back then but now i know now that every thing started to change when I joined TBSS. There, i found my self some new friends (To my greatest happiness i must add) who had the same Dream and hunger as mine (Sreesanth , Sameer ). We started planning about our movie. I still can't belive we had a cam costing 3999/- . It had a 8 megapixel lense. But the thing is, it didnt have the pause or zoom option's... Now THAT was a challenge... We had our plans made and equipement ready.. I started the movie (Count down) with (Sreesanth , Sameer , Anil , Jeemon , Padhmanabhan , Arun , Sijo ). But as usual there were critics from my friends (Sagar). But when we started the editing work, Sagar came & saw the shots. He had no words & infact he asked me if he could associate with us.. Ofcourse we gave him the chance to dub his voice for Sijo. when the editing was near completion, every one was looking for a banner name.. I had no time to say it could be "Vchitra Movies" which i was holding in my Heart.. "Vchitra" means indifferent from other's , Vchitra also means 'V' for Victory, 'Chitra' for Movie. In another words "victory movies" & aother special meaning "Vchitra" holds for me is, V (WE) Chitra (movie). Meaning "OUR MOVIE" You might not believe this but our movie came out with a total expenses of just 350/- and that too It was the money we spent for the Battery that we used for the cam..... That's why we always say "we make movie's with our Heart....!!" All that is Needed now is your Wishes for us to grow and a few critics to improve ourselves-----------R.Rajith Kumar.
